The idea started for the yoga manifest in January 2006, as a medium to document and share my personal experience and journeys with yoga. It is now up and running and updated on a regular basis. It started as a kind of journal and who knows where it may end.
Hopefully by exploring The Yoga Manifest you will hopefully be able to see how yoga has been of benefit to my quality of living, and also you be able to look back in a light hearted way at my past more innocent, perhaps sometimes humorous experiences.
The Yoga Manifest will be used to journal many experience's from simple experiences of breathing practices, meditation and asana, to more personal adventures I may chose to share with you. It will also include written work for the BWY teaching diploma and perhaps some other more creative poetic inscriptions andphotographs. I am hoping this will appeal to anyone with an interest or curiosity of yoga, and also as an aid of reference for people studying yoga at a deeperlevel.
The aim of this website is to be truthful and share. I appologise in advance if this brings to light anything that offends or people disagree with, it is just intended to document my own personal experience, perhaps helping me to practice the second of the five restraints taught to the yogis known as the yamas.
'Satya' or truthfulness:
One should be truthful to oneself and to others in thought, word and deed.
"It is said that if a person makes truth the central focus of his life, all of his utterances will come true, for such a person is incapable of untruth."
Swami Rama - The Royal Path.
All I ask for you is to enjoy, and see the humour and beauty in life.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
